My passion for mission work started the first time i ever even experienced doing something like it, it was with my youth group and we went to a camp over the summer called M-Fuge in Charleston, SC. I had just turned 13 and had never really done any type of mission work at all, and after working with kids of inner city Charleston, sharing God's love andย serving them, and seeing how much they appreciated it and what they got out of it, made me realize i wanted to continue doing this. It was something where i didn't even feel like i was doing work because the joy i experienced doing everything was something i wanted to keep going in my future. God just drew my heart to mission work, and i felt called to continue it and share his love through myself. I then went on a mission trip to Panther, WV (with AIM actually!) and through that trip, God just really made it stick in my mind that missions is what HE wanted me to do. It was an amazing thing, because it just felt like the whole trip that this was what i was meant to do! So, at the end of the trip AIM handed out brochures to us talking about all the other trips they have to offer, and i knew i wanted to do another trip with AIM. So, i waited a while and prayed about continuing mission work and when and where God wanted me to go....and so this year i went on the website, and saw the available Swaziland mission trip this summer, and it all just clicked in my head, God wanted me to serve in Swaziland this summer, so i signed up and now i'm here! It's amazing how God works and i'm so excited to be able to do God's work and serve the people of Swaziland with all of you = ]
andddd that is how i was called to missions!!
