Camille Driver
So I have read the instructions and have messed around with the site for a good thirty minutes and still don’t think I am doing this properly. But here it goes!
My name is Camille Driver I am 16 and from Dallas Texas! I have three siblings, Melissa (14), Angela (18) and Wynn (20). I am so blessed to have them as siblings and they are seriously the funniest people I know. I am also incredibly lucky to have three wonderful best friends who are strong Christians and encourage me so much, John, Kate and Emily. I am pretty close with my parents but I am the closest to my grandma, she pretty much is the one who keeps me in line and made this trip a possibility for me. She was running around Dallas helping me get stuff together before I even knew I needed it!
I really love to learn (grades not so much though). I play field hockey and lacrosse. I like to longboard (even though it’s incredibly hot in Dallas right now), and play guitar poorly. I have an awesome group of friends as I have previously mentioned and that goes the same for my church. I am pretty much obsessed with my small group!
I love having fun and just being goofy! I am definitely not one to get stressed out, I just think it’s unnecessary. I enjoy good conversation and really like hearing different opinions, although I can be pretty stubborn concerning a few things.
I became a Christian the summer after second grade. This had no affect on me until the summer before freshman year (I am a rising junior). My parents were getting a divorce and I was so incredibly mad. I definitely pushed everyone out of my life until I was left with just myself and God. Only then did I get the bright idea to follow Him! I am basically obsessed with learning about the Lord. This sounds nerdy BUT I really like theological and philosophical conversations. Most of the time I keep my mouth shut and just listen and try to learn, and decipher my own opinions with support from the Bible. I think the most amazing thing is the love Jesus has for everyone. That sounds cliche but only this year did I realize that God doesn’t love me more than anyone else and it’s not about me (which was a hard concept for me to grasp)
