Allie Morris: About Me =]
Heyy! My name is Allie and I am soo excited to go to Swaziland this summer with all you guys!
Here are a few random things to help you get to know me better:
– I live in Santa Cruz, California… a total beach/hippie town but I love it!
– I’m a sophomore and turn 16 on April 20th.
– I love playing guitar and writing songs, its a total stress reliever for me.
(Me playing guitar.)
-I love going on adventures.
-I dislike math very much.
– My youthgroup is Younglife… I’ve pretty much met the awsomest people ever there and being a part of it has changed my life!
(This is SC Younglife at Woodleaf this last summer.)
– I love all acoustic-y music, and happy stuff I can sing along to. My musical inspirations are Jack Johnson and Bethany Dillon.
– I love softball!
– I absolutely love the forest and being outside… I live across the street from the most beautiful redwood park… it’s the best for hiking and swimming!
– I love the beach of course!
(Here’s a picture of a Santa Cruz beach.)
– I love attempting to speak in Spanish. 😉
– I live with my mom, dad, 2 younger sisters Megan and Andie (14 and 12), and 2 cousins, Davene and Cody (14 and 8). My family is big and hectic but super fun!
( This is some of my family playing football at the beach this last Thanksgiving.)
– I’ve been a vegetarian for 8 1/2 years
– I love animals! Ive had so many pets in my life it’s crazy.
(Here’s my chickens and duck… we had to give our duck Daisy away because she was to loud. :/ )
– When I “grow up” I want to do something along the lines of human rights… maybe politics?
– I have a little bit of an obsession with Africa.

Hey Allie,
You seem like a REALLY nice girl and I can’t wait to meet you. I am so excited that our mission team is growing larger by the month. 🙂
Rachel
well yl.
you have no idea.
so its a pretty long story but ill share a little. basically when my dad got remarried, my mom was on yl staff, got off, but had her foot still stuck in the door. so for like 7 summers she was a head leader and myself and my four siblings all would run around as “staff” kids which was a total blast and pretty much my favorite thing every summer.
I have been to…
*Frontier with my mom like 4 times. then i went as a camper with friends after my freshman year and had such an amazing time.
*Crooked Creek: with my mom twice and then went on a ski trip there.
*Trail west (the family camp. yes. went with family when i was little)
*Sharptop: with my mom
*and the most exciting of all!! Rockbridge and Malibu. After my sophomore year i went to Rockbridge (in VA) for WORK CREW and i was a tawashie and had the craziest time ever. i actually met one of my best friends whos a year older and we’ve kept in really good touch ever since. and then last summer after my junior year i went to Malibu! that place is pretty much the prettiest place on earth and i dream that i can go back some day. but i did work crew there too and worked in the snack parlor.
*i’ve visited saranac before too.
but pretty much. some of the best times of my life have been spent at younglife camps. and i’m so involved at home with club and campaigners. and this sunday we actually have our banquet that all the kids serve at. so its totally incredible and i’m glad that you know what i’m talking about.
sorry if thats a little more than you had asked for,… but what can i say? 🙂
oh and work of advice. YOU MUST DO WORK CREW AT ONE POINT IN YOUR HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. ITS PRETTY MUCH LIFECHANGING.!
can’t wait to talk about yl and oh yes. jack johnson. in person…

Hey Allie! you sound like such a fun person! i cant wait to meet you! I play guitar too! and i hate math too haha
We r try’n 2 get a yl group started @ my skool (susposedly we’ve had 1 4 15 yrs but currently we have more leaders than we do students) and I went 2 my 1st yl event, Campaigner’s, last weekend and it was amazing despite the fact that I was the only person from my skool but it was lifechanging and it’s rlly cool bcuz i got 2 spend some quality time wit my leaders whom i barely knew @ all except my cross country coach, Kassie. I have only been on 1 yl experience but i am now in luv wit it! I’m getting some of my friends 2 join me and our skool’s yl leaders @ our little togethers and our group is starting 2 grow which makes me rlly excited. I am officially in luv with yl! 😀 I thought my leader Kassie was kidding when she said that yl was one of the most amazing things ever but now I realize that she so was not kidding! 😀 Beckie
Hey Allie!
I think we’re going to swaziland together and I’m so excited to get to know you!
I love playing guitar (although I’m not very good at it)and I hate math. It’s my worst subject. I love to be outdoors and I have family in California! I have a facebook and a myspace so maybe we can get to know each other better on there!
